Final Project Process

UI/UX User Testing

My Every Picture studio project is currently a page that displays one of my many interests, growing my plants. For my Final Project I will be conducting user test in order to understand how to better the user experience of my Every Picture Project.

Blow you can check the feedback I got from user testing by clicking on the name of the user.

1. Demographic Information:

What is your age?
What is your occupation?

2. Pre-Test Questions:

Just glancing at the page, what are your expectations for what the page is for?

3. During Task Execution:

Can you walk me through what you are doing and why?
How do you feel about the layout/design of this page/screen?
Are there any elements that confuse you or that you find difficult to understand?
Did you encounter any issues while completing this task?

4. Post-Task Questions:

Were there any features or functionalities missing that you expected to find?
What aspects do you like the most?

5. Overall Impressions:

Do you have any additional comments or feedback?

Summary of Results:

User feedback pointed out the difficulty of the functionality with the hovering method of pausing images and showing information. Not many other issue arose from the tests, much of my feedback was positive. Moving forward with this project I will be implementing differnt ways of revealing information such as a navigation drop down or reiterating the hover function so that the information stays until users hover over different image and the scrolling is continuous. So in cases like mavis where she likes to use the cursor to follow her reading she can do so.
